Biography

Wallingford: David W. Chisamore, 83, beloved husband of the late Sally Walrath Chisamore passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.

David was born in Theresa, New York, February 7, 1926 a son of the late Carlton and Nora Evans Chisamore, and was the stepson of the late Edna Chisamore. Mr. Chisamore retired in 1988 from Case Power & Equipment in Buffalo, NY and resided in Watertown, NY until 2004. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a radioman aboard a PBM in the Pacific Theatre.

He leaves behind his children and their spouses Davis Chisamore and his wife Marcia of Nashua, NH; and Jan Reutenauer and her husband Richard of Wallingford; his grandchildren Kristen Chisamore Defina, Brian Chisamore, Jason Reutenauer and Erin Reutenauer. He also leaves his sister Ruth Moran of Evans Mills, NY; and sister-in-law Patricia Chisamore of Deland, FL. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Chisamore.

His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides and staff at the Masonicare Center, Wooster 3, and the Acute Care Unit for their excellent care of David.

Funeral services and Entombment will take place on Monday, February 1, 2010 in Watertown, NY. Local arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
