Elsie C. Nold

December 21, 1907 - January 27, 2010

Elsie Caroline Lee Nold, 102, of Wallingford, died, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Masonicare Health Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold W. Nold.

She was born in Meriden, December 21, 1907, a daughter of the late Martin E. and Caroline Hitchcock Lee.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews; including Carol Puopolo of Wallingford, Kathy LaValley and her husband Cliff of Portland, and Lynda Massores and her husband Paul of Wallingford; and her special great-grandniece Alyssa. She was predeceased by three sisters, Marion Hickey, Dorothy Draper and Bette Dessureau; and her two brothers, Edward Lee and Robert Lee.

A special thanks is extended to the staff of Masonicare Health Center Ramage 6 for their excellent care of Elsie.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Sunday, January 31, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home, Sunday at 5 p.m. Interment will be private in Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the American Lung Association, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108-3272.
