Life Legacy
Anne Marie Ullman, of Meriden, formerly of Arbor Lane, Wallingford, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at the Westfield Care Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ullman.
She was born in New York City, September 22, 1917, a daughter of the late Jacob W. and Grace Whittick Walther. She had been employed by Unimax Switch Company for 28 years.
She is survived by her five children, Robert A. Ullman and his wife Brenda of Texas, Richard J. Ullman and his wife Roseann of Massachusetts, JoAnne (Mrs. Joseph) Cichowski of Wallingford, Janice K. Ullman with whom she resided in Meriden, and Kathy A. Ullman Hulin and her husband Charles of Glastonbury; her 10 grandchildren, Eric Ullman, Charles Light, Kacey Light, Robert Ullman, William Ullman, Chris Cichowski, Greg Cichowski, Joseph Cichowski, LeighAnn Cei, Cheryl Smeriglio; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister and three brothers.
Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the American Red Cross, 209 Farmington Ave., Farmington, CT 06032. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, CT 06492.
