Life Legacy
Wayne Wesley Holder, 53, of Forest Rd., Wallingford, died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Hartford Hospital due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born in Wantagh, NY, a son of Walter W. and Shirley Durant Holder of Coram, NY, and was a veteran having served 12 years in the U. S. Marine Corps. He had been employed as a truck driver in the past and most recently he acted as a patient escort at the V.A. Hospital in West Haven. Wayne was a proud member of the Leathernecks Motorcycle Club of Connecticut and belonged to the Wallingford Historical Society.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is survived by his beloved Mariann Tabacinski of Wallingford; his son, Warren Holder of Florida; and his brother, Scott Holder of Massachusetts.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Thursday, July 22, from 5 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Interment will private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to Yale University Transplant Center, ATTN: Judy Ahearn, P.O. Box 208062, 333 Cedar St., New Haven, CT 06520.
